The Right Place for the First Date

The Right Place for the First Date

Many men have trouble finding the right place for a date. Where should I take her? A restaurant? A cafe? What if I do not know a good restaurant, or if she doesn’t like the food there? Questions and more questions, all of them with a very simple answer: All that just does not really matter! Because as we have already seen (Why the First Date Shouldn’t Be a Date), men should avoid situations in which a woman becomes the interviewer and wonders the whole time if he is good enough to be summoned to another “interview”.

This means of course that we should avoid, at least for the first date, all restaurants and similar places.

A cafe is a completely different thing. People are more relaxed there, and the whole thing can be cancelled quickly, especially when you realize that you don’t really like the woman, but above all here we can turn ourselves into the “interviewer” in a relaxed way, and show her that it is she who must present her best side. Places such as cinemas, clubs and concerts should also be avoided, because one just stands around or sits there, without much chance of showing one’s appeal.

This means that on a conventional date, we are not able to show her everything that women find attractive (What women really want!) quite so well.

For this reason, we have to find places that fall outside the scheme of “typical date-place”, and above all, provide fun for us, where the most important attributes that make a man attractive can be shown.

We can be quite creative at this: playing at the toy department of a department store, visiting IKEA and playfully selecting the stuff for a fictitious joint home, or going to a pet store with lots of lovely puppies: All this provides as much fun as taking her along for jogging or go bowling. These are all places where she is bound to show herself in a much more “honest” and natural way than uncomfortably sitting all made-up and dressed-up at a restaurant. Going shopping together for a dinner at our place later on the same day, or simply taking her on a shopping tour, where we might want to buy gifts for our little niece or clothing for ourselves with is ideal.

There are unlimited opportunities to find good places for a date that fall outside the typical scheme and thereby make a guy look attractive and interesting.

The right place for the first date is therefore the one where a woman experiences something new, both have much fun and can laugh a lot together, something she does not expect and makes her get out of her comfort zone, and of course, something at which he cannot embarrass himself but is able to demonstrate all those things that make him look attractive.
